SURF EXPERIENCE
Old Town pick-up, transfer to the spot, guidance in English or German – and photos you get to keep.
You can book a surf lesson anywhere in Cádiz. What you get here is something else: we meet at the Monumento Moret in the Old Town and head out to the ocean side together – the ride there already tells you a good deal about this city and its relationship with the sea. At the spot, the instructors of Cádiz Surf Center take over. I stay with you: translating the briefing, watching your things, taking photos. Afterwards we sit down for a drink on the beach before heading back into town. Around three hours in total, 90 minutes of it in the water.

YOUR GUIDE
That's the job of the pros I work with – and they're good. My role is a different one: I pick you up in the Old Town, take you to the right spot, make sure you understand every word of the briefing, and keep an eye on your things at the beach. I take photos while you're in the water and send them to you afterwards. And I know where to eat in Cádiz after a session. Languages: English, German, Spanish.

Year-round, with more consistent conditions from September to May. Sessions confirmed 24–48 h in advance.

At the Monumento Moret on Plaza San Juan de Dios in the Old Town – the same meeting point as all Explore Cádiz tours. From there we travel to the spot together; the transfer is included in the price. If you're staying on Playa de la Victoria, meeting directly at the surf centre is possible on request.
Allow around three hours from the meeting point: transfer, briefing, 90 minutes in the water, changing, a drink on the beach and the ride back.
Four at most for the group lesson. Larger groups can be arranged on request.
Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and something to drink. The school provides board and wetsuit. A dry bag for your phone is handy but not necessary – I keep an eye on your things at the beach.
Safety comes first. If conditions aren't suitable we reschedule for another day or refund you in full.
